The fragrance opens with Brazilian rosewood, lavender, birch, and angelica, immediately establishing a sophisticated woody-aromatic character. Brazilian rosewood provides a smooth, subtly spicy woodiness, while lavender adds clean aromatic freshness. Birch introduces a darker, slightly smoky quality, and angelica contributes an earthy, herbal nuance that gives the opening additional depth.

As Imperial develops, the composition reveals an elegant floral heart of geranium, rose, freesia, and jasmine. Geranium provides a fresh aromatic quality with green and subtly rosy facets, while rose adds richness and refinement. Freesia contributes a lighter, airy floral freshness, and jasmine brings a smoother, more sensual white-floral character.

The dry down is where Imperial becomes especially complex. Agarwood (oud) and guaiac wood establish a dark, smoky woody foundation, complemented by earthy patchouli and cypriol. Leather adds richness and texture, while sandalwood provides a smoother, creamier contrast.

Layers of labdanum, amber, and olibanum surround the woods with warm resinous depth and smoky incense. Musk completes the composition with a smooth, skin-like quality, allowing the woods, leather, resins, and lingering florals to blend into a powerful and sophisticated trail.

The result is an opulent woody, smoky, leathery, floral, and resinous fragrance—opening with aromatic lavender and polished rosewood, developing through elegant rose and jasmine, and ultimately settling into a commanding foundation of oud, leather, incense, amber, patchouli, and deep woods.
