Spicebomb Metallic Musk by Viktor&Rolf is an Oriental Spicy fragrance for men, launched in 2025. Created by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault, Metallic Musk brings a different dimension to the Spicebomb collection, combining explosive peppery spice with luminous aldehydes, aromatic lavender, leather, and a smooth skin-like musk.

Built around the contrast of cold metal and warm skin, Metallic Musk opens with bright aldehydes that create a crisp, polished effect. Bergamot adds fresh citrus energy, while black pepper delivers an immediate spicy bite. Elemi contributes a fresh, resinous quality that bridges the sparkling opening with the warmer spices underneath.

The heart intensifies the spice with another dose of pepper and cinnamon, creating warmth and energy against aromatic lavender. The lavender gives the fragrance a cleaner, more refined masculine character while preventing the spices from becoming overly heavy.

As it dries down, musk becomes the centerpiece. Soft, clean, and sensual, it creates a second-skin effect that contrasts beautifully with the sharper metallic opening. Ambrette enhances the musky texture with a warm, subtly sweet quality, while leather introduces a smooth suede-like darkness. Labdanum finishes the composition with a rich amber-resin warmth.

The result is a modern interpretation of the Spicebomb DNA—peppery and explosive at the opening, aromatic and spicy through the heart, then increasingly smooth, musky, leathery, and sensual as it settles on the skin.
