Desert Fire by Day Three Fragrances is a bold, resinous, and woody fragrance created in collaboration with singer-songwriter Colton Dixon as a follow-up to Desert Rain. Darker and more intense in character, Desert Fire combines green aromatics and peppery spice with sacred resins, palo santo, leather, myrrh, and burning woods.

The fragrance opens with shiso leaf, pink pepper, and cypress, creating a fresh yet unconventional introduction. Shiso brings a crisp green herbal quality, while pink pepper adds a sparkling spicy kick. Cypress introduces an aromatic, slightly resinous woodiness that begins moving the fragrance toward its darker heart.

As Desert Fire develops, frankincense takes center stage. Smoky, resinous, and meditative, the incense accord is surrounded by warm spices and creamy palo santo. The combination creates an atmospheric heart that feels warm, dry, and smoldering rather than traditionally sweet.

The dry down becomes considerably darker. Leather and myrrh introduce richness and depth, while burning woods create the impression of charred timber and glowing embers. Cypriol reinforces the composition with an earthy, smoky, woody quality, giving the base a rugged and long-lasting character.

The result is a dark woody-incense fragrance built around smoke, resins, leather, and burning woods. Desert Fire begins green and peppery before gradually transforming into warm frankincense and palo santo, ultimately settling into a deep, smoky foundation reminiscent of wood slowly burning over glowing embers.
